Freelancers!!! this is an amazing service to free you from the drudgery of the paper receipts…. One of the things I do to help my business run smoothly is to have my receipts scanned and organzied online. I’ve been using Shoeboxed for over a year now and I would highly recommend the Classic account for $19.95 a month. This allows you to stuff the prepaid envelope full of receipts, up to 150, plus 500 catchup scans with the annual plan. Then just drop it in the nearest mail box and let Shoeboxed do the rest.

Here is a short time lapse of how I organize my receipts every month. Then I can just view them online if I ever need to reference them. I probably don’t use Shoeboxed to the fullest maybe you will.

This LA landmark is one of my favorite places to have a sandwich. Philippe the Original. The French Dip is the best in town at a great price, I usually end up getting two. If you freelance you probably shouldn’t go during regular lunch hours it’s wall to wall people.

The Pershing Square Downtown Stage will offer six weeks of free entertainment five days a week. Wednesday through Sunday a variety of live music, films, events and youth programs will be available to the public at no charge. Sponsors including Guitar Center, 100.3 fm The Sound, Pageantry Productions, Spaceland Productions, Downtown Los Angeles civic groups, restaurants and businesses have joined with the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks to present this summer series at Pershing Square.
