Freelancers!!! this is an amazing service to free you from the drudgery of the paper receipts…. One of the things I do to help my business run smoothly is to have my receipts scanned and organzied online. I’ve been using Shoeboxed for over a year now and I would highly recommend the Classic account for $19.95 a month. This allows you to stuff the prepaid envelope full of receipts, up to 150, plus 500 catchup scans with the annual plan. Then just drop it in the nearest mail box and let Shoeboxed do the rest.
Here is a short time lapse of how I organize my receipts every month. Then I can just view them online if I ever need to reference them. I probably don’t use Shoeboxed to the fullest maybe you will.
